Awajishima Farm Facilities
The facilities at Awajishima Farm are as follows. The facilities are relatively small, so feel free to walk around the facilities.
Milk-squeezing experience area
Awajishima Farm is known for its milking. Local elementary school students always visit Awajishima Farm for this hands-on experience. It is one of the tourist attractions that you should experience when you visit Awaji Island.
Pickland Pavilion
Pickland Pavilion is a covered facility where visitors can barbecue Awaji beef and experience cheese and butter making.
The main facilities at Awajishima Farm have roofs, making it a sightseeing spot that can be enjoyed even on rainy days. Since there are few sightseeing spots on Awaji Island for rainy weather, it is recommended to visit as an alternative plan for rainy days.
Milking place
Take a bottle of milk and the calf will happily approach you. Try giving milk to the calf as if you were a mother. It is really cute to see the calf drinking hard.
On this day, there was a pony for some reason on the milking experience.
Fee: 500 yen / bottle
Pony Riding Area
A real pony is held by reins and made to walk like a merry-go-round. Even children can enjoy it safely and may feel like a cowboy or cowgirl.
Fee: 600 yen/trip
New Barbecue Pavilion
New barbecue pavilion is a facility where visitors can enjoy barbecue together with the Pickland Pavilion.
