At Matsuho Anchorage Park, a plaza overlooking the Akashi Straits, sinkers (weights placed on the seabed) used for the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge were displayed as objects, and people enjoyed fishing under the bridge.

On the opposite shore (Kobe side) of Michi no Eki Awaji is the Maiko Marine Promenade. There are no restaurants or plazas, but you can watch a beautiful sunset at dusk.

It is recommended that visitors, especially those who go sightseeing on Awaji Island via the Expressway Maiko bus stop, visit the promenade on their way to change buses.
