Awaji Highway Oasis is a sightseeing spot where you can enjoy delicious Awaji Island cuisine and a magnificent view of the Akashi Kaikyo Straits. Access to Nijigen-no-mori is also convenient, and can be reached directly by tramcar. Since it can be accessed directly from the Awaji Service Area, it is recommended as the first sightseeing spot when visiting Awaji Island.
This article introduces the attractions and facilities of Awaji Highway Oasis based on my experience when I visited.

Awaji Highway Oasis offers restaurants where visitors can fully enjoy the island's culinary charms.
Easy access to Nijigen-no-mori and Hyogo Prefectural Awaji Island Park
Awaji Highway Oasis can be accessed from the Awaji Service Area via a connecting road, without passing through a public road.

This tramcar provides an efficient way to visit tourist spots, including the Awaji Service Area and Awaji Highway Oasis.
It is especially recommended for those with limited time or who do not want to get off the highway.
Spectacular viewpoint from which to view the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge
Awaji Highway Oasis is located on top of a small hill and offers a magnificent view of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge with the city of Kobe in the background.
