In most cases, you can call Sumoto Kanko Taxi, the first company introduced here, and they will dispatch a taxi to your desired location. If you are unable to catch a cab, we recommend calling the nearest cab company.
Cab fares on Awaji Island are as follows (as of 2023/09/07).
Small car: 620 yen for the first ride (up to 1.3 km) / 80 yen for each additional 264 meters
Medium-sized car: 620 yen for the first ride (up to 1.3 km) / 80 yen for each additional 235 m
Early morning (22:00 - 5:00): 20% increase
The Uber car-delivery service began a demonstration experiment on Awaji Island on July 21, 2018 (Saturday), and the service is still being provided.
