Awaji Chef's Garden Tourist Attractions
Awaji Chef's Garden can be summarized in the following three ways.
- Open-air seaside terrace seating
- Outdoor food court with a variety of cuisines
- Spectacular sunset view, selected as one of the top 100 sunsets in Japan
Open-air seaside terrace seating
The open seating with a view of the Harimanada Sea in the eastern part of the Seto Inland Sea is very attractive. The best time to visit is from spring to fall, especially when the weather is good.
However, be aware that it is cold and windy in winter.
Outdoor food court with a variety of cuisines
The variety of food types available is also appealing. The selection is as if all the food courts in shopping malls had been moved to the seaside area.
Each restaurant has its own unique characteristics, and you will probably have a hard time deciding what to eat. If you go with several people, it is a good idea to buy various types of food and share them!
Spectacular sunset view, selected as one of the top 100 sunsets in Japan
The sunset on the west coast of Awaji Island is famous for its beauty. Prefectural Route 31, which runs beside the Awaji Chef Garden, is a popular driving course called the "Awaji Sunset Line," where you can enjoy a magnificent sunset over the Seto Inland Sea from Matsuhonoura in the northern part of Awaji Island to Keino Matsubara in the south.
One of the charms of this place is that you can relax and enjoy such a spectacular view.
