Local gourmet Awajishima burgers ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in Japan

The Awajishima Onion Beef Burger won first place in the National Local Burger Grand Prix in 2013, which was attended by approximately 54,000 people. The burger uses a variety of fresh local Awaji Island ingredients, especially the sweetness of the onion and the juicy beef.

After continuous improvements, the burger was challenged again in 2014 with the new Awajishima Onion Gratin Burger, which won second place after a fierce competition of 30 groups.

The burger continues to attract many fans today, thanks to its local flavor and improved quality.

In addition, there are two Awajishima Onion Kitchens that serve the Awajishima Burger: the Uzumachi Terrace Store located at Michi no Eki Uzushio and the Uzunooka Onaruto Bridge Memorial Museum Uzunooka Store.

For those who want to enjoy a more spectacular view, we recommend the Uzumachi Terrace Store at Michi no eki Uzushio, and for those who want to eat something other than burgers and learn at the Uzushio Science Museum, we recommend the Uzunooka Onaruto Bridge Memorial Museum "Uzunooka Store".
