Tako Senbei no Sato is a factory and store offering 40 unique varieties of rice crackers. Here, visitors can enjoy not only a wide variety of rice crackers for sale, but also experience the taste at the tasting corner and relax in the comfortable rest area.

The rest area is a relaxing space decorated with ornamental plants, where visitors are offered free coffee and tea. Visitors can also take a peek through the window to see how the rice crackers are made, providing an interesting glimpse into the production process.

Access is very convenient, only one minute by car from the Tsuna Ichinomiya Interchange on the Kobe-Awaji-Naruto Expressway. It is well worth a visit as a great place to pick up souvenirs and take a breather.

Ancient iidako pots are on display, showing that octopus fishing has been practiced on Awaji Island since ancient times. Through the exhibits at this museum, visitors can learn about the history and culture related to octopus fishing on Awaji Island.

Many kinds of rice crackers are sold at Takosenbei no Sato. Most of them are available for tasting, so if you are curious about the taste of a particular type of rice cracker, please try it and then purchase it. Please try and buy the rice crackers you are interested in.

By the way, I often buy Tako Octopus Fried Rice Crackers as souvenirs. It is a fried octopus cracker about the size of a coaster that you put under a cup or something, and it is very popular.

Personally, I prefer the Ebisenkarinto (shrimp cracker).

Around Takosenbei-no-Sato are the red roof of the produce market, Nakada Village, and Cosmos.

They are highly recommended for those who want to purchase Awaji Island's specialty sweet onions and Awaji Island's freshly picked agricultural products. A variety of products are sold at several stores, so it is a good idea to take a look around and choose what you want to buy.

In addition, there is a seafood restaurant, Kitara, on the same premises.

It is recommended for those who are looking for a place to have lunch or dinner on Awaji Island, as it offers a variety of dishes from rich seafood to dishes using Awaji beef.

I have used this restaurant many times and enjoy the abundant menu so much that I am always at a loss as to what to eat!
